Contents "Airplanes" When my brother and I were young we collected pictures of airplanes and pasted them in a large scrapbook. For my first flight in an airplane I was an Air Cadet. We were taken for a bumpy, cold, noisy ride in a C-47 (an Air Force cargo plane). I loved it. After high school I joined the Royal Canadian Air Force and spent a lot of time in airplanes.
