UEFA Women's Championship trophy

Hi Gbawden, one month ago you deleted a picture of mine: Commons:Deletion requests/File:UEFA Women's Championship trophy.jpg. There was absolutely no comment. Aren't you able to explain the huge difference between such a depiction of the UEFA Women's Championship trophy and one of the Henri Delaunay Cup that no one wants to delete? @Pakeha The cup you photographed is clearly a sculptural artistic work and falls under COM:TROPHY. I do not know why the cup you mentioned has not been deleted - I see it was deleted in the past. Gbawden (talk) 06:54, 4 December 2025 (UTC)

Category:Edith Wharton in art

You speedily deleted this category as unuseful empty category, despite the fact that it had contents and is useful. The nominator for speedy had in fact dumped the categry's contents into another category for Portraits, without regard for whether the portraits were art or photographs. The category deleted is for the art, whether or not they are portraits (paintings, sketches, murals, etc.) and there is one category and two files that belong in the category. The template for speedy deletion says that if I disagree with speedy deletion, I should switch to a regular deletion request, and then it links to Commons:Deletion requests. But there is nothing there about deletion requests for Categories, only for files. And the procedure listed for files does not seem to apply for Categories, since there is no deletion item link on Category pages. --EncycloPetey (talk) 13:45, 16 January 2026 (UTC)

Can we just start placing speedy delete whenever people try to claim bodycams as being the result of "automated system without human input"? Having this discussion over and over again isn't getting anywhere Trade (talk) 15:06, 20 January 2026 (UTC)
