This is a place where users can communicate with administrators, or administrators with one another. You can report vandalism, problematic users, or anything else that needs an administrator's intervention. Do not report child pornography or other potentially illegal content here; e-mail legal-reportswikimedia.org instead. If reporting threatened harm to self or others also email emergencywikimedia.org.

Other reports that require administrator assistance which do not fit in any of the previous three noticeboards may be reported here. Requests for history merging or splitting should be filed at COM:HMS.

I fucked up the batch task, so they're all in Category:Other speedy deletions with DR tags (I nominated the DR page for speedy deletion and removed it from the daily DR page). Sorry for the trouble. The file File:Official Presidential Portrait of President Donald J. Trump (2025).jpg is currently undergoing an edit war reverting between a couple versions:

• 1,638 × 2,048 JPG that is apparently based on a PNG image released by the White House
• 3,277 × 4,096 version that is an upscaled and sharpened version of the above

Standard procedure (as best as I can tell) and what I've done before in this case is revert to the last stable version (which there never had been, so in this case, the original upload), then upload lock the file indefinitely until a consensus can be reached or the other file is uploaded under another name, at which point it becomes the local projects' choice of which one to use. Long-time copyvio uploader still uploading copyvios like File:Planetshakers Kids - Nothing Is Impossible (CD australiano).jpg after warnings, numerous deletions, and 3 previous blocks including a 3 month block. Geoffroi 23:55, 6 February 2026 (UTC)

Anybody willing to block this long-time copyvio uploader and reuploader? He's been blocked three times and his last copyvio upload was two weeks ago on January 26. Why is this request being ignored? Geoffroi 19:03, 9 February 2026 (UTC)

This user wiped the original user's talk page and its uploaded files were used by the original user in jawiki shortyly ja:Special:Diff/108301679. Additionally the files uploaded by sock probably can't be kept in commons due to COM:FOP. The both user have the same point with uploading Korean musicians from Youtube and misunderstanding Japanese copyright rules in commons. Netora (talk) 23:07, 9 February 2026 (UTC)
